ABOUT THIS AGREEMENT
This document sets out the rules that UNISON has established to maintain a comfortable and proper relationship with users. We have tried to address possible disagreements and limit liability that may arise through use of the service.
We use the names “UNISON,” “Unison dating,” “Unison bot,” and “Unison partner-matching technology.” This is not an exhaustive list, but these are the names used most often.
WHAT IS A PUBLIC OFFER?
The company operates on the basis of a public offer: an agreement that does not require a handwritten signature to be binding. To accept this agreement on the terms below, it is sufficient to begin using the service.
Before using UNISON, you must review this User Agreement. Users of many services often tick “I agree” without reading the text. We nevertheless ask you to read this document because the law requires informed acceptance.
YOUR CONSENT
By starting to use the service, you confirm that:
• Before use, you reviewed this User Agreement in full and accepted all of its terms without exception.
• The company may amend this User Agreement without individual notice. A new version takes effect when it is posted on the website or another company-owned resource, unless the new version states otherwise.
• If you disagree with these terms, you must stop using UNISON.
HOW DOES THE SYSTEM WORK?
UNISON is a dating system intended solely to help people meet for relationships and family formation. Other uses are considered invalid, and users who violate this purpose may be blocked.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS AND PERSONAL DATA?
To find a suitable partner, we create several datasets. These are collections of information processed by our proprietary algorithms. The image datasets include photographs of the user and examples of people the user finds attractive.
We assess the relevance of uploaded images using available characteristics such as size, capture date, device information, and whether an image was edited. Using information from public sources, we may look for duplicates and contextual information associated with the images.
We do not manually alter the content of the datasets or the matching algorithm. Our task is to apply the underlying scientific method in practice as accurately as possible.
HOW SAFE IS IT TO PROVIDE DATA TO UNISON?
Providing data to us involves risks comparable to providing data to other online services operating in Russia. We use data only for the stated purposes.
RIGHTS TO DATA AND SYSTEM USE
We allow users to use our systems under a simple, non-exclusive license. You may use the system as an individual in any country where access to it is available.
Data owned and uploaded by users is made available for the service's shared processing. We undertake not to violate users' privacy or publish information that could identify them. Users must also take reasonable measures to protect their own data, including personal data.
PAID SERVICES
Some features are paid so that we can continue developing the service. Revenue is reinvested in development, and we aim to keep prices affordable.
The main paid service is a package that gives the user priority in partner matching. Extended features are available to paying users. Payment may be charged weekly or monthly to the card connected to the service.
To stop recurring charges, change the payment settings in the payment system connected to the interface you use, for example, the Telegram bot.
Other paid services may be based on different features and may not exist when you read this agreement. They may use a different payment model, including a one-time fee.
LIABILITY
The service is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability arising from use of the service.
We do not guarantee error-free or uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, fulfillment of user expectations, or the reliability, accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of information provided through the service.
We are also not responsible for the consequences of using or not using the service. Users remain responsible for their own decisions and actions.
PROHIBITED CONTENT AND CONDUCT
Do not upload, store, publish, or distribute information that may reasonably be considered toxic, dangerous, defamatory, or invasive of another person's rights or privacy.
You must also not publish:
• advertising or propaganda;
• obscene content;
• anything that violates applicable law.
VALIDITY OF THE AGREEMENT
This agreement applies to prior use of the service unless an update or new version is accompanied by different terms. It may be amended at any time without individual notice.
